About Me
I was born in Canada and am rooted in Amsterdam, where I live with my family and own an independent vinyl and coffee shop.

Working on behavior change in Africa and Asia, I learned that local knowledge and culture are critical building blocks for lasting impact. In Amsterdam I used art and sports to connect people. My workshops on gender and organisational change in South Africa helped start meaningful dialogue on power, roles and expectations.

I am experienced in learning facilitation, communications, project management and juggling different priorities.

My education draws on management and leadership studies, organisational change, anthropology and communications. I am now learning about community building, Amsterdam as a classroom and how to catalyse radical change.
Work Experience
2015 - Today
After completing a successful crowdfunding campaign, Siebrand van Hengel and I launched Black Gold Specialty Coffee and Vinyl in 2015.
I provide management support, am responsible for the newsletter & PR, events & catering.

Black Gold is also classroom #1 for Molly School, a pop-up school for people who think that school should be fun and Amsterdam makes a good classroom. I connect people and provide opportunities to learn and manifest ideas.

Previously I worked for IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre on communications, learning facilitation and behavior change programs.
